What began as a vision over 50 years ago has grown to become one of New England’s largest and most reputable precast concrete manufacturers, specializing in everything from watertight septic tanks, to manholes and drainage structures, to bulkheads, curbing, residential steps and high performing Shea Block Retaining Walls.

Founded in 1949 by Ernie Shea, our company’s auspicious beginnings began when building foundations were still made with concrete blocks. With his wife Mary and son Ed by his side, Ernie quickly became known for being an honest, easy-going businessman who was good to his customers and employees, and fair with his competition.

Today, Shea Concrete Products remains a family business in every sense of the word: Ed, his wife Judi, their four daughters, three sons-in-law, and two grandchildren, plus over 50 dedicated and knowledgeable employees all help to run the company.

With locations in Wilmington, Massachusetts (headquarters), Amesbury, Massachusetts and Nottingham, New Hampshire, we are able to service the diverse needs of our customers, and deliver quality products at a fair price. And our continued focus on quality, service, and customer-centered values has made us a leader in the precast concrete industry.

Shea Concrete Products is proud to be certified by the prestigious National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA), an international trade group dedicated to expanding the use of quality precast concrete. Currently, the association represents more than 900 companies and also provides technical and production information through 13 product committees, which consist of members who concentrate on specific product lines within the precast industry.
