Shea retaining walls are constructed using a wide selection of shapes, each of which is crafted for efficiency in the design of segmental retaining walls for structural performance, durability, flexibility, and aesthetics in the finished wall. These shapes allow designers to incorporate both inside and outside 90 degree corners or curves with virtually any radius down to the physical minimum. Retaining Walls may be finished with caps or special top units that allow greenscape within 4” of the face of the finished wall. The new ReCon freestanding fence and guardrail units give designers even more options and flexibility in accommodating the unique needs of any construction site.

Concrete Retaning Wall Blocks Have Attractive Natural Stone Finishes

The Shea Retaining Wall Block is aesthetically pleasing, with each block having a natural stone finish. The retaining wall block is available in North Shore Granite, Le Sueur County Limestone or the “cut stone” look of the Old World texture. With the exception of “Old World”, each finish has several different textures, which prevents excessive repetition in the overall wall. Realistic color may be post-applied with readily-available, natural concrete stains that are easily applied. Your Shea retaining wall will have a natural stone look that will last for years.

Because Shea retaining walls are manufactured as a wet cast concrete product, it may be possible in certain situations to accommodate a limited degree of “customization.”
