Shea Retaining Wall Systems - Class Descriptions
The Engineers Class is gearged towards:
- Providing engineers with an overview of important Shea wall design and installation guidelines.
- Effects of site conditions on Shea wall. A general guideline for engineering gravity vs. a MSE wall.
- Soil types, surcharges, slopes, wall heights, and the effects they have on the wall.
- Familiarize engineers with how the Shea product works and why it is a premium product.
- Wall construction.
- Block specifications.
- Hands-on wall construction demo (weather permitting.
- Also, we will provide a Shea Retaining Wall Manual and Certificate of Participation.
- Giveaway items and lunch is on us.
The Contractors Class is geared towards:
- Providing contractors with an overview of important Shea wall design and installation guidelines.
- Familiarize contractors with how the Shea product works and why it is a premium product.
- Wall construction.
- Block specifications.
- Hands-on wall construction demo (weather permitting.
- Also, we will provide a Shea Retaining Wall Manual and Certificate of Participation.
- Giveaway items and lunch is on us.
Classes will be scheduled on an as needed basis. Classes will typically be held at our Amesbury plant at 10:00AM on Friday's. We will notify you 2 weeks before a class is scheduled to confirm your registration. REGISTER NOW
