Shea Riders in Pan-Mass UpdateThank you so much for sponsoring me in the 31st Pan Mass Challenge (PMC). The PMC is a 190 mile two day bike ride against cancer that was held on August 7 & 8. The ride took place from Sturbridge to Bourne on the first day and then the next day to Provincetown. The ride is such a rewarding experience. The weekend weather was fantastic with 5,000 riders and 3,000 volunteers but once again I am amazed at the amount of spectators holding signs at 5:30am while standing in their pajamas drinking coffee, the crowd cheering you on and the emotions are overwhelming. Have you been touched by cancer? Would you like to make a difference in the lives of those that have been? Last year was my first Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) in support for four year old Courtney, the daughter of a colleague and friend, who was diagnosed with Leukemia. It was such an unforgettable event that this year Bob Flores will be joining me on the ride. Therefore, on August 7th and 8th we will be participating in the 31st Pan Mass Challenge (PMC) with a combined fundraising goal of $15,000 and cycling 180 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown. Donations to our PMC ride will help cancer patients by supporting life-saving cancer research and treatment. The PMC is an annual bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. We are proud supporters of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. We hope you will be too. Please make a difference and support our PMC ride. Your donation is 100% deductible.
