Shea Concrete Products, Inc Purchases Utility Precast Inc, Expanding Product Offerings

January 13, 2010. West Wareham, Mass.

Wasting no time at all, Shea Concrete has rung in the New Year with a brand new location and an expanded product line.  Utility Precast Inc. a provider of electrical, telephone, communication and gas utilities has been purchased by Shea Concrete.

The West Wareham facility will be the fourth location added to Shea’s already impressive lineup of plants in Amesbury MA, Wilmington MA and Nottingham NH.  This strategic acquisition allows Shea to offer an entirely new line of products to its growing list of clients.

The move is only the latest example of Shea’s commitment to their clients and the future of their business.  Says Greg Stratis, manager of the Amesbury plant;

“We feel it is important to offer as much as possible to our clients and that most of them like the idea of one stop shopping, we are always on the lookout for ways to make their jobs easier.”

The deal came about in late 2009 with the deal being finalized over the holidays.  It sets the stage for an exciting new year and what is sure to be another great year at Shea Concrete Products, Inc.
